CloundFront and S3 real costs

I have been using Amazon AWS services for a while, either for hosting data and backups (S3) or when I need servers with "per hour" pricing (EC2). Recently we have started using S3 to back up user-uploaded files from Wikidot.com and CloundFront as a Content Delivery Network for our static files (CSS, JavaScript, images etc.).

I find many people hyping about how inexpensive Amazon services are: look
